Asymmetric Defense
for a Supersonic Age.

A single $50M radar is one jammer away from blindness. UVU is engineered to replace it with a decentralized mesh of low-cost, semi-shielded nodes — fused in nanoseconds by our proprietary PGA logic-gate design (currently in R&D). Our architecture is designed to defeat stealth, supersonic, and swarm threats by inverting the cost curve.

Built in Riyadh. Engineered with Türkiye.

UVU is an advanced defense initiative — a joint-venture spin-off powered by Belpico’s R&D capabilities — architected for Saudi Vision 2030: localizing defense IP, manufacturing, and high-skill jobs inside the Kingdom. A planned 100% sovereign, ITAR-free supply chain, architected to meet premium SSB Sürüm 3.0 offset requirements via planned Belpico Arabia, SAMI & GAMI pathways.

Three threats. One doctrine.

Legacy monolithic radars were optimized for a threat environment that no longer exists. UVU’s prototype architecture is designed to pair proprietary PGA logic-gate design with semi-shielded, low-cost hardware to neutralize the modern trinity of air threats. The capabilities below describe our engineered design intent, currently in active R&D.

01

Defeating Stealth

MULTI-STATIC GEOMETRY

The science: Very-low-observable aircraft evade single, expensive radar dishes by deflecting waves and absorbing specific frequencies.

The UVU solution: decentralized multi-static passive/active radar networks. Energy deflected away from one node reflects straight into another. The mesh fuses the distributed returns instantly — stripping the aircraft of the monostatic assumption its stealth depends on.

02

Neutralizing Supersonic

PGA NANOSECOND LATENCY

The science: supersonic & hypersonic platforms collapse the OODA loop. CPU-based radar software suffers OS bottlenecks and sequential processing — it reacts too slowly.

The UVU solution: tracking algorithms wired directly into the physical logic gates of custom PGA hardware. Parallel processing drops tracking latency to nanoseconds, resolving Mach-level intercept trajectories in real time — before the threat crosses the horizon.

03

Preventing EW Swarms

ASYMMETRIC HARDWARE

The science: adversaries couple cheap drone swarms with EW to blind shielded radars, then overwhelm them. Firing a $3M missile at a $20K drone is economic suicide.

The UVU solution: an umbrella of cheap, semi-shielded nodes. Against cognitive jamming, the reprogrammable PGA fabric executes dynamic frequency hopping to cut through the noise; when nodes are destroyed, self-healing routing shifts load to survivors. We win through mathematically unjammable redundancy and cost-asymmetry.

THE ECONOMICS OF ASYMMETRY

Why cheap-and-many beats expensive-and-singular.

Air defense has an arithmetic problem. When the sensor costs a thousand times more than the threat, the defender loses by winning. UVU redirects the budget once spent on a single gold-plated monolith into hundreds of sovereign, replaceable nodes — and puts the defender back on the right side of the cost curve.

  • No decapitation point. Losing any node degrades the umbrella by a fraction of a percent — the mesh self-heals.
  • Track capacity scales linearly. Total capacity is the sum of the nodes, not the ceiling of one processor.
  • Attrition favors us. The adversary exhausts expensive munitions against a layer that is trivial and sovereign to replace.

Engineered for the Kingdom — not flown in.

UVU is structured as an irreversible In-Kingdom commitment: a planned Riyadh Regional HQ, domestic manufacturing, and IP localization mapped directly to GAMI’s 50% localization mandate and NIDLP industrial priorities.

Knowledge & Technology Transfer

A documented plan to transition PGA logic-gate firmware and node integration into domestic facilities — targeting MODON industrial cities, SPARK, and KACST research parks.

Supply-Chain Decoupling

Reducing reliance on vulnerable Western / Asian single-points-of-failure by using regional inputs — SABIC polymers for enclosures, Ma’aden minerals, and local commercial-derivative hardware. 100% ITAR-free.

THE UPGRADE PATH

From monolith to mesh, in four moves.

Migrating to UVU is not a like-for-like radar swap — it is a doctrinal upgrade from point-defense to field-defense. Procurement and integration teams execute the transition in four sequential steps.

01

Budget Reallocation

COST-ASYMMETRY

Redirect the budget earmarked for a single gold-plated radar (≈$50M per aperture) toward 100+ decentralized UVU nodes. The same spend buys exponentially more coverage and removes the single high-value target from the order of battle.

02

Multi-Static Deployment

360° GEOMETRY

Distribute the low-cost nodes across a wide geographical footprint to form a 360° multi-static active/passive network. Energy deflected from one node is caught by another — and there is no single decapitation point.

Owner: Site planning / field integrationOutcome: Stealth geometry defeated
03

PGA Fabric Integration

NANOSECOND LATENCY

Wire tracking algorithms directly into the physical logic gates of the PGA fabric, bypassing sequential CPU processing. Parallel, deterministic execution drops latency to nanoseconds — holding track on Mach-level threats before they cross the horizon.

Owner: Systems integration / softwareOutcome: Load-independent latency
04

Redundancy Activation

N+1 SELF-HEALING

Enable dynamic frequency-hopping and N+1 self-healing routing so the umbrella shifts tracking loads to surviving nodes during kinetic or EW swarm attacks. Jamming is out-tuned; node loss is instantly rerouted.

Owner: Operations / EW resilienceOutcome: Unjammable redundancy
